Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using pinnr (“the app”), operated by Paper Plain ApS (“we”, “our”, or “us”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the app.

Description of Service

pinnr is a mobile application that allows users to save, organise, and share lists of places. The app is provided “as is” and may be updated, modified, or discontinued at any time.

User Accounts

Account Creation

You may use some features of the app without creating an account. To access all features, you may need to create an account by providing accurate and complete information.

Account Responsibility

You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the security of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any unlawful purpose
• Share content that is harmful, offensive, or infringes on others’ rights
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the app or its systems
• Interfere with or disrupt the app’s operation
• Use automated systems to access the app without permission
• Impersonate another person or entity

User Content

Your Content

You retain ownership of content you create in the app (lists, notes, etc.). By using the app, you grant us a license to store, display, and share your content as necessary to provide the service.

Shared Content

When you share a list, you grant view or edit access to the recipients. You are responsible for the content you share.

Intellectual Property

The app, including its design, features, and content (excluding user content), is owned by Paper Plain ApS and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the app without permission.

Third-Party Services

The app integrates with third-party services, including Google Maps Platform. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and policies.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The app is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that:

• The app will be uninterrupted or error-free
• Place information will be accurate or up-to-date
• The app will meet your specific requirements

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Paper Plain ApS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Paper Plain ApS and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the app or violation of these terms.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the app at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the app ceases immediately.

Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the updated terms and updating the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Denmark. If you are a consumer in the European Union, you also benefit from any mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Denmark, except where mandatory consumer protection laws provide otherwise.
